Pretty literal rendition of title & design concept. Fabric is a slubbed drapery type. Yarns are wool. Matching fine wool yarn was used for embrication areas. Edges of the "bird" are chain sticth that is whipped. Free form needle lace using single & double buttonhole. Applied, padded white wool, french knots, buttonhole rings.
